Silently she sits down, her eyes glazed and distance,
staring into a world that only she can see.
A look of peaceful serenity stamped out on her face,
her delicate fingers seem to clutch at her chest,
Where to the untrained eye, it would seem
She were living the greatest memory.
Her fingers pull at the fabric above
where her heart used to beat.
And she screams;

The bag looked angelic white, innocent enough
“I will only give you twenty’s worth,” he says, “it’s that real good stuff!”
Using a razor she chopped up the big bits, drew her lines
Then up her nose with a sniff, sniff, sniff
It seemed like things got brighter and she advanced through time
Her heart raced fast, wanting to escape through her chest
She was flushed, sweating, feeling aroused within her breast
Soon it all seemed to float, so good, so hot, then just so… cold

Day 3, we scooped from silt clay loam
A murex shell behind the wall—
Our wall—swept sleek, teeth brushed, and combed
For bullet, bolt, and bone in sprawl.
Across trench pulled like tanner’s cloth
The shattered reaps of diggers’ pride
Stared vainly up at trailing broth
From amphora toes, tipped underside.

The sexual tension had been brewing
Now there was no undoing
The soft kisses he left upon her skin
Or the hot throb he left inside her from when they got it in
The moans, the bites, pleasure, juices that flowed
That paced that was fast, and then worked it real slow
Eyes now meet in agreement at the thought of their secret sin
Her boyfriend sits next to her while his scent stills lingers on her skin
She had never been one to be tame, so she felt nothing, no shame

Strangers attempt to change me up; my beliefs see if I stand on them
They want me silenced and photo shopped like Jennifer Aniston
My pockets aren’t deep but my souls an endless well
To those who deserve my kindness, I give it the others I tell to go to hell
When I’m wrong, and times I often am, I pick myself up a try again
If I see you down I will pull you up, don’t repay me by pulling me down into your rut
One foot in front of the other, one breathe at a time
A giant amongst the little people who try to ruin me
My uniqueness my savior in a world that shuns individuality

Fingers soaked in hard lemonade,
Putting the anger, away in the shade,
Numbing the poet,
Withdrawing the words,
Erasing the ink,
Cutting the cords,
Sadness only rears, it's weepy face,
When pockets are empty,
And there's no escape.

A thought a notion a single nation, standing for one standing alone. To be alone is a definition of being, ones self being one being self. A tree toxic at the roots shifting and turning and spinning wired fruits. Feet burning tasteless souring. Scorching me like the son i never was.. Hatered burning my battle never won. To ask for forgiveness is to ask for sorrow. I shed no tears i show no fears. Inside crawling with the maggots turing into the flys that infest my inner being. The only cure is to forget and my only fear is of regret. Looking back at yesterday forgetting what i should say. Whats on my mind will change from time to time and with that change the sun will rise....

Come the time you fall in love
Whisper to the sun about the heavens above
Tell old Sol that I'm still around
To look for me on the ground
Hoping to spread peace, sunshine in my life
I travel the eternity of time waiting abiding the strife
I have no time to look for wives
I have time to look for love

Last time I walked through the desert
The cactus plant asked me why there was no vegetation where he roamed
I told them I did not know but I would search for the answer so
I walked to the desert stream for surely he would tell me but he did not know
So I searched and roamed
Until I found the desert rock and he said “for surely you mock
Me who has been here since the beginning of time
I find this question as that of a nursery rhyme.”

I dreamt of a life where poverty was everywhere
The world and thousands of people were dying everyday
There was war after war
I even dreamt of the government corrupt
Indian children and women dying
From malnutrition and disease
They were living in cardboard houses
The Indian children committing suicide
before they turned of age
One of three dying this tragic way

She said it’s over..
I wasn’t sure I was dreaming, or..
My mind was playing tricks on me, or..
It was just the plain, obvious truth..
Isn’t that what we do..
We deny our problems, cling to hope like little kids cling to their mothers when they’re scared..
But scared is an understatement in my case..
I was afraid, terrified, petrified I was about to lose something I could never find..

I heard a criminal once sayin’ to a judge: to keep me off the streets i will need a suit..
i will need a coup i will not need a roof.
I guess that's how a man who didn't have a roof over his head since he had his first tooth see the world just fancy cars and suits..
for him dat was the truth.
I wouldn’t blame the guy.. he lived in a phone booth!
I blame rest of the world for not showin’ him the proof that he’s innocent..
that he just didn't know life’s truth.
