Walking down the hallway,
My fourth hour hallway,
People surround me,
Squish me tight.
They drown me in their thoughts
And ways.
Where am I in this crowd?
Just one soul wondering down,
My fourth hour hallway.
Personalities mix,
Some curdle,
Some knead.
But don’t you know
That looks can kill?
One stands out amongst the crowd,
One target practically screaming aloud,
And I witness the looks
And words
Aimed at him,
Destroying him from the inside out,
On the way down
My fourth hour hallway.
