Enraptured
Captured
Delicately delivered
To the doorstep of your innocence

A girl afire
Sick with desire
Something that you could never alleviate

I was just a helpless caterpillar
Crawling along the mucke'd mile
Generous helpings of jesus and pantomime
Faking my way through a middle class life

You found me there, exuberant and silly
Sugar straws
Placed precisely

Cleverly masked by a smile & jovial tone,

Tongues painting only what they want known.

Deceived not by my ears nor my eyes,

Intently I listen as you speak your disguise.

Without any effort I hear what is there,

Many things you're unwilling to yet share.

Crack it, break it bleed it

It’s only my heart

One little part of me

Tear down my bones

Impregnate my moans

Burn your kiss on my lips

Can love just ever be free

This is the type of stuff that folks pay to see

every word that comes out of me

it's all a reflection of my history turned poetry

That you can see for free if you look deep

Awoken abruptly.

Pain shooting from his brain straight down to his stomach

as he catches a glimpse of a leg running out the door,

a trail of blood left on the floor.

Shaking under the blankets,

he tells his right hand to pull the covers down,

unwilling to rouse, this stubborn hand stays put.

Moonlight creeps through my bedroom door

Along the floor and into my core

Recession, regression, depression and more

Our children stood no chance

To hear music made just to dance

Or butterfly fields near caterpillar streams

Baby fingers playing and happy screams

Sun bleeding darkness succeeding

An eventual rolling of her home

Blue ozone pulls back her cover

Two lovers hear each other moan

Promises of tomorrow they’ll borrow

He’ll pay back his solitude with sorrow

When quiet takes back his rattling bones

I'm the substance that keeps a soldier ready for battle

I'm the shit that keep the heat poppin, stick, move, tackle

I'm the heated formula through the midst of the battle

When the shit gets hot,drop,roll,shake,rattle
