She waits she watches she contemplates she breathes.
She has been here before
On other days in other ways for she has needs
And as she waits she bleeds she feels it she feels it deep
Deep within and standing there she breathes.

Potato peels

Left over bones.

Butterflies take flight

Splattering their ink against the walls of my veins

Down through my arms

Into my pen

She knew what to take.

Worthless and evil was what she felt.

Divorced words keep rebelling

Broken.

Dissatisfaction lingers in the air tonight
From the old man hiding in the corner
To the kid on the street with a baton in hand
And the old man remembers nights like these
When as a boy he was that kid
Standing there taking that step from
