When did my life become so dull

Gone from party girl

To one no one longer invites

Each day blends into the next

No reprieve

Living minus the fun

Like reading a book

And all the pages say the same

Flicking through

Praying to see different

A Redder Regret

A shaded light splays

Dark ray’s lye down

On splattered feathers

A cold mossy green branch

Wet with red raw claws

Atoning for his fatal flaw

Disguised in her jungle black

He mistake’s his lovers call

The dive steep, the caw

The switchblade feet, the fall

His mate, her fate raped

His reddest regret of all

My spirit is not at peace

Searching and never finding

Happiness eludes me

Wandering and forever lost

Why don’t I fit in anywhere

Feels like no one understands me

What is it my spirit is looking for

I ask for answers

All I get is complete silence

Tormented spirit

Won’t someone please tell me who

Raised the neon inside the moon

I knew we’d meet again real soon

In a picture of love they call you

.

Your inside beauty generates

Outside beauty has no mistakes

Inside to out you’re so in tuned

I can’t look away when I’m with you

When you look at me

Who do you see

Is it my mothers eyes

Looking back at you

A union that you say

Should never have happened

But then my sister and I

Would not exsist

How do you feel about that

Confrontation from the start

Time grows dark and narrow,

Tunneling,

As life grows steady around us,

Blossoming abundantly,

A vastness of sky is open above us,

Bright and free,

But all the while it shifts ever so slightly,

Enough,

Oh blackbird where has your raven gone

I hunger for the taste of one more song

Words you fell like clear cut clouds

Thick threw love and Venetian fog

A poet writer sketch and paint

One more song so I might faint

.

Sing blackbird

Ravenous –beautiful- soul

That which mirrors you

Sing once more for

Vango

 Behold the Lion

.

Whoop; whoop, wings are painting white the Serengeti

Wilds waving good-bye on extinct black ancient tribes

In flight she watches the fearless king lion’s hunting

Innocently caged she watches and is dissatisfied

The swift burnt sun runs up the fish filled rivers

Moon shadows fall down behind tree top clouds

Darkening her heart is the heavens king lion crown

She said no

Rough hands hold her down

She can feel the ground

Scraping her back

Clothes being ripped

Who is that screaming

She realizes its her pleading

She said no

He acts like this is a game

Why can he not feel her pain

If a man wanders ahead from his one known faith, he steps to decline, remorseless as a fool.

Subdued alone, he bounds his very soul unto a line, as faith stands numb to watch him try.

As he is probed destitute by the winds of choice (he reflects) what says the tongue from this misers voice?

A demand of pay from those for love, as his feeling is owed for the life he does.

What time is this, and what place?

No thing to make my heart flutter,

No heights to make my spirit long,

No place left to conquer,

Only obscurity,

we all move along.

I look in the mirror

The reflection looking back

At me seems to be wrong

Where has the years gone

When did these lines appear

In my mind the face I

See is the real me

In my reality I’m still 21

Looking back at the mirror

Them years have long gone
