Perfected with a thing called heart,
I was given a chance to live,
With a family I was permitted to love.
My soul chose this cast,
This body as its host,
A mysterious world to face,

I don’t know what they see in your eyes
Because all i see is it’s broken twice
Do i have to apologize,
If all i see in it are alibis,
I really don’t know why you can’t look at me,
If you look in my eyes i could distort you from this reality and make you hear my harmony,
I’ll treat you with a never ending decency and deal with love with less deficiency,
to make love not mandatory but just lovely full of amnesty

I've seen you before
I've seen you in your momma's eyes
many times before
When I see you in my life
oh it feels just right
like a man who has everything
now I have it twice
Stay with me little darling
please don't ever go
when something scares you in the middle of the night

I'll teach you how to be brave
how to make it through
I'll stay all night with you my dear
until it's over and safe for you
