Death are you there?

My subconscious is Frankenstein,
I am it's monster,

My brain is such a philistine,
When out of context,

Hope will become my true demise,
same way as John F,

A NOTE TO ...

No one gets to me

in that level or degree

is it because he does not love me

Or maybe he does not care about me

I don't want to prove myself to anyone but him

He does not acknowledge me

when he saw me he didn't seem happy

I've been reaching out

but he just keeps his distance from me

Was I a mistake that was not suppose to be

This question does bother me

He does get to me

He gave life to me

My Daddy.

And that final joke is as hobbled as the first
winding down with the whiskey and the lights

As your bar-stool companion considers the cigarette that isn't there
fingertips gripped in a remembered motion even as the left hand reaches for empty air
you can hear the pillowed crash of glass in grey waters –

I was a girl no more than 15 when you came in the bathroom where I go to get clean but cleansed I did not get that day instead it was just awful, for today's the day that you, my dad would do something unlawful.

Green,Yellow,Blue and Red,
Some are alive and some are dead,
Swaying in the wind so slow,
Spreading their colours like a rainbow,
Admired by butterflies,
For the nectar that never dries,
Giving nature a ravishing face,
"Don't pluck them" that's what everyone says,
A delicate system lies within them,

"Sonic Boom"

As the dead amassed on the courtroom floor
The hysterical crowd cheered for more
It was a sight the hangman could not ignore
As he pulled the noose nice and tight

While the priest who gave the Sunday mass
Was arrested while the plate was passed
As all the windows stained with glass
Came crashing down from the heavenly heights

The Politico's lies were on display
While the masses all did moo and bray
Believing the tales of a better day
Despite the gathering gloom

Souls set alight by the softest of sparks
Fumbling through the darkness
They meet at their lowest
Friends until daybreak and so much more
For when I am with you I can soar
Although it is but an easy life
The spark remains throughout it all
A gentle smile imprinted on my soul

Close your eyes,

I want you to trust me,

Just this once — just for tonight.

You can tighten your grip on my hand,

I don't mind your nails digging deeper.

She, unaware tip-toes in the candle light glow of the skyline breathtaking the silence around her is a forcefield.
I love her
Her freckles, constellations when connected they dance along her cheeks and nose- she doesn't see them as I do.
Cat like eyes send shivers, eyelids of blue and purple veins while she sleeps through the morning fog.
I love her.
Peppermint Tea still on her breath she Speaks and the words almost inaudible they wrap me like a blanket "I love you"

I've got words
Lots to say but their stored away
Even when I need to release them the most
I'm the quiet one, meek and mild
They call me the 'golden child'
But they don't know what goes on in my mind
They are indisputably blind

Those days are gone
When you and I walked in lawn
When birds sang for us
When air blew for us
I remember that rustle; the short-lived rustle

Those days are gone
When you and I sat under the tree
Like birds set free
Like labors let free
Free to fly; free to enjoy
I remember that glee; the short-lived glee

She’s full of life, she’s someone’s wife,
Blessed with children, her lovely garden!
Her humble nature, caring and helpful,
Smiles and laughter, always cheerful!
