Just a little stream.
A little stream running through a little park
In the middle of this little town.

But lain across that little stream
Lies the trunk of an old fallen oak
Who I like to visit from time to time.

It is one of the last days of March –

Tis a gruesome morbid tale it's true

But the retelling of it is for you

For if the tale gives rise to fright

Makes it hard to sleep at night

Don't drown the mem'ry with strong drink

But rather let it make you think

Ten soldiers in a field one day

What have I done?

What nightmares have I set forth?

Why does it feel so awful doing what you know is right?

Is it always the righteous that must suffer?

The language of a woman is very easy
but let a man tell it – it’s way too diffi-cult;
acting sick and becoming queasy-
flipping the conversation like an in-sult.

I assume if he can hear then he can listen -
not to certain words but to every sentence.
I know it can’t be

I want to vandalize something
smoke a cigarette
punch a cop
I’m bored
I want to scream

Understanding that life is fluid
And evolving
I can march down the streets
expecting anything
and turning into anyone
I can stop and dance
                for three

Today I have some really terrible news;
and you may take it anyway you choose.
I want to say – “I’m no longer in love with you”;
because you stopped the loving things you used to do.
I know I still care and will always cherish you in my heart;
but as of now I

Man does not define who I be;
because God is in control of my destiny.
Man cannot tell me who & what I am;
He needs to recognize and get with the pro-gram.
Because it is “I” who has the key
If he wants to be a part & complete me.
I control the

By Mother Nature She was cursed to the ground;
And by all the creatures She was Crowned –
To become the home for those She destroyed;
And killing a life They once enjoyed.
Of the earth and never to depart –
She will never again have a mortal

I declare war on war
Intelligence vs. violence
We are being dared to take a stand
Our own generals don't think we have the guts
To say "No sir."
They think no one has the strength
To stop the war
And they are right
No ONE does
It will take many
It will take more

I haven't washed my heart
since the day we touched accidentally.

You walked away
but I know you
danced inside
danced in the nude
a profile in heaven bare.
Wishing me and only me.

If I look deep I can still feel fingerprints.
I know you left them there like

an endless empty room

from a child I
