I am the one you fear.
The eyes that glisten red from behind the doorway.
The growl that grows from your closet door.
I am the monster I've come to eat you my dear.

It won't hurt.
That I promise.
First I'll eat your thoughts and then your emotions.
And I'll wash it down with

Eyes meet eyes. Words shake hands. Minds think alike.

Emotions can’t shake out the words.

Days go by.

Emotions meet the words.

Words and emotions go home to hide.

Days go by.

Words sleep. Dreams are filled with emotions. Sleeping on words kills dreams.

Ideas arise. Ideas wake dreams.

Waking is morning. Morning is light.

MOMENTS

Now I see your face across a crowded room
Drifting in and out of shadows like a star;
Lifting from every space all darkness and gloom
And filling it with light wherever you are.

Oh I see your face at the break of each dawn
Like the first day when we

"Mark my words" explained he "For her love you will die!"

And so it began a ride through this unexplainable life. Two kings to be in love with Marie.

Dear poor Marie in love with Alexandrious Clarice. Broken hearted Caeroleus Maximus  swore revenge on thee. Caeroleus and Marie were happy untill along came Alexandrious Clarice.

God I love you beer koozie
I drop it right in

Like a glove

My dear beer

Why do we...so frequently
Forget the joy of what lies
Above us
Beneath us
Surrounds you and finds you
Alone
On that bench
Thinking of sorrows and the weight of the world-

While we drown in the sea
The ocean that daze
And our lungs fill with pain as emotions swell in waves
And

He never understood how he broke my heart

a ritual that caused me to cry every day.

He found it too easy to look into my eyes and lie.

All I ever wanted was an honest kiss

what one hopes to find
still intact after the soul's blaze
stands extinguished.
debris of dreams caught by wind
thrown into the sky as
reverse shooting stars
warm against cheeks streaked
with doubt.
the frame remains
the rest a pile of steam
desolate decimated by
unauthorized lightning.
how does fire rage

Frost glistens on blades of grass

As the sun rises.

A winter morning

Cold and uncaring

Sends tendrils of ice

Through snow covered branches.

Reaching out they send a chill

And I shiver and the world

Closes in around me.

I seek sanctuary inside

But the doors do not open

And I am left

Did you lay down in the river
let it wash across your skin
did you scrub your hands until they bled
from the scars of all your sins
did you think maybe you’ld cleanse your soul
with a single bar of soap
it doesn’t seem too likely
but one can only hope

Did you
