Recall that god-awful day
you went walking to escape
scuffed and sulked
your way across the soggy ground
dragging blackened shoe stings
until you found that Cardinal feather
gleaming in the grey.

Its radiance mocked you
rough and anything but
so you pulled it apart
took laborious joy in

In the barren garden
lie abandoned bags
of Miracle Grow
scattered around brown skeletons
that stand in frozen protest.

Inside dragging through the pastels
of the dusty room she slides
her glass half empty of mother’s ruin
onto a table its tears falling down
to the surface.
They gather in a

It's amazing how far
The time seems to travel
All this history
Starts to unwind and unravel

Through with looking for a new sensation
I don't have to 'cause it's there
Soaking me in pulling me up and down
And down and

There is a light at the top
Of the stairwell where

The bare bones.

Facing reality

Living up to expectations

Rivaling needs

Confusing station

External bleeds

Tough decisions

Ridiculous creeds

Benefactors out

Wanting me

Having nothing

Better than you

Fear of money

Loss of time

Gaining fertility

Mortality recession

Its all

Pitiful

I assume I am the only one to make this assumption.

How will I ever find out.

Will it be logged in the Guinness book of records

Where then. In my head.

As the land of the rising sun lowers

Shaking hands with land and waves

Running stares as bare beating feet

Dazed in this haze of disbelief

Butterflies

beat against the walls of my stomach

      Bile

rises up tickling my gag reflex

            Tremors

reluctantly allow my hands to function

                  Poison

liquified and burning like acid seeps out of my bowels

                        Crawling

                           frantically out of

I just

Want to lay in the mud.

Dark wet heavy mud.

That will cake my skin

And then crack and peel off

In brittle brown earth chunks.

Life
sounds like
knife-

a jagged sharp
ockam's razor.

Purpose
sounds like
porpoise-

a mammal in a
sea of fish.

GAME OVER
Thank You
Please Play Again.
