Painting Her Toe Nails

In love imminently we are

Like the 50's jukebox and carols of infinity

Take me somewhere...

Take me ahead...

Blueberry cherry or banana

I'll paint her toe nails

Paint away the tears

Shade in my fears

Blend a broken heart

As long as she's near

Illusions of a lifetime

My dear loves to be pampered

Through the forest flourishing day by night

Thorns from the barks take whips on Pete

St. Pete St. Pete O my brother St. Peter

Cool leaves brushes the fabric and scorned

Foggy nightfalls of noisiness and torn

O my brother Peter

Restless upon juicy mud and battered limbs

Stars never sing insects twinkle late night

The Romantic

You say that I am a romance

A romantic phrase a lover’s chance

A walk down memory lane

Roses sweet and dewy in summer rain

A dreamer a reveller

Mmmm

Growing hotter

Accretionary lahars

Molten thoughts

Erupting monsters

Storm is stirring

Pyroclastic master

Helmeted fury

Harmonic Tremors

I spit out the ass tasting mouthwash
I look down purely out of habit
There is blood in the sink
My blood
This does not bode well for our hero
Is it the onset of gingivitis?
Is it a caffeine induced cavity?
Is it because I lied when I was 21?

There we stood in the age of rain

Tears and fears

By the bridge below the rivers flow

Give him one second more

And he may take the leap

Give me the hands of distrust

Of fear return we will

To the bridge of tears

Well I do remember

The music that led me

Into the night and dreaming day.

The music of the piper

Leading me astray.

And I do remember

A world of mysteries and hope

Inside the books I had.

Colourful no more

Words wasted and sad.

But maybe perhaps

I am a

The Riddle

I am as yet unknown

I am that which weeps

Then laughs

I have been the spring

And then the winter

I am old

Though I haven’t lived long

I am a creator and destroyer

Though the world is not mine

I have yet to be a story

Though I

It was an optical illusion

A mirage of water to a dying man in a desert.

It was a fallacy

A misprint a miscalculation in the math.

An inkblot covering all the important

because i really cannot do this again

sitting by myself

allows me to dig

at myself

trying to figure out the hows and whys

all i can really think is

I want to lay
against the milky denim of the sky
before I settle carefully
over the edges of the buildings
before I melt to flow along
the streets and spill my waters
into the park lands
and green places.
I'll flow along the tracks
