i see the moon bright

its cold and looming

i see the stars are out

they sit there, glooming

a mist clouds my view

nothing seen, no sight

i hope i dont meet

meet a pirate tonight

Bumps

It’s the bumps, those damn little bumps

Dreams we sought wedding rings locked

Happiness and love all for naught

Remember how light mixed with care

How together we erased despair

Promising we’d pay the fare

The bumps

Those damn little bumps

Now we sit as mirrors facing each other

No longer a reflection of one another

Too many swims near the deep end

From tears we no longer could defend

The souls of our shoes now brown

From each others squirming around

From those bumps

Those damn little insignificant bumps

The Truth About Quaint Cafe's

We assumed they were just places

Moments gathering together

Laughter, tears and human embraces

Skin and bones in stucco and stone

Visitors going to the same old places

Strangers alone but together we were sown

Quaint cafes park benches and grass

Evening cocktails help us advance

On faces leaving traces

Of friendships and romance

We were caught in the stases

We assumed they were just places

Rays of Hope

Blue beginnings. Darkness, silence, a void.

Not quite night.

There moves a spirit as sinister as Eden.

Soon, all hell breaks loose.

The gift says let us eat. She

gives birth to the rest of us.

Slaves have many mothers:

she was beautiful

she showed us all her figure

she shined and glowed

in a low cut figure hugging dress

oh man, she looked the best

she came into the party

showed us all just how to be

she spoke to everyone in the room

never got around to me

i watched her face light up

it danced to an unheard beat

lights are blinding,

as the streets begin unwinding.

tomorrows are never ending

money never lending.

seek out the perfect wish from the devils fire

dig deep into the bottomless soggy myre

seek the secret, strong like vinegar

if you got nothin else to do, then, ring her

its all on the edge of a wire through the flambouyance

you have to bypass naivity and wallow in  modest arrogance

Love as an Exception

Love should last forever

Without overt ovation

Yet intrinsic to relation

It dies from expectation

Little spurts of elation

                        Extend its final deflation

What began as salutation

                        Ends with desolation

Love was above incineration

                        Until it became a relation

The Prayer of Seals

We are the cold blue edges of diamond cut currents

In reflective oceans of elegance with sacrificial lite

We choose you the under current maiden

To spear light in the heart of our fight

Thus cut us under your drowning breath

Succumbing to cold soaking numbness

We hold you closest in aquatic respect

Life cannot float on untied Navy knots

When sinking becomes thy host and final friend

In deep waves of Cold Ocean thy love shall defend

Of Neptune’s nation where we are falling

We the chosen of a bravest fighting calling

Oh but when even one heart drowns

He Calls it Home

He

Is larger than life

Smile so bright

So wide

You'd never guess what it hides

Eyes shining

Glassy

Grey as the ocean

Wild in storm

Arms so warm

Embrace your soul

Opening your mind

Melting your world

And he doesn't have to try

He's never heard that before

Don't stop

Don't fear

Don't doubt

Don't dismiss

Don't forget

Don't react

Just write

Just create

Just do

stretching body and mind through time, its ok for now, this time. but tomorrow... it will cost you five sheets; to collect a thought lost long ago to the unweilding and absorbing absorbants. am i ok now, well you know, i just dont know. i fly ahead, maybe slide straight of the handle over the edge of the map while you run at a normal pace, lagging behind. you see i jump six hundred metres, well out of my face, jumping to another place, i find that this sand pit is 1200 metres long, and im already at the concert so far gone, i like this tune, whats that song?
