She has faithfully kept a sketchbook for years. She prefers a black hardbound journal approximately nine inches by twelve inches in size. Such a book can be purchased at almost any art store. Each has about one hundred fifty sheets of drawing paper. She can usually pick one these sketchbooks up for seven or eight dollars.

Why does she even try? The sun comes up with a blinding force reminding the average American that the day has begun and it's time to run the rat race. She doesn't even ant to get out of bed. Not believing in the materialistic dreams of her neighbors family and friends.

This house is filled with settling. The dust cakes in the corners just as the hair cakes on the floor and the skin cells fill the couch cushions. Happiness means a place of lukewarm chicken enchiladas and a rerun episode of American Idol.
A wisp of blue-grey smoke seeps from the barrel of the discharged pistol. There are no rules only a picture framed by the ethereal trails of violence. Relaxed released my mind wanders...
...Thirsty.
Stand. Knees shake impossibly. If I make it to the sink I can fill a glass of water. I
do, but I gag on it as dry heaves wrack my body.
