It hurt and he didn't care. It muffled the sounds and he was disconnected from the world. He still didn't care. He sat there with it aching and the side of his throat raw. He didn't care. He threw back his coke...now flat.

He didn’t feel different until he got home. Sure he enjoyed the ride along the way the views the experience. He thought he would feel like a giant dominating the ground he walked out. But he felt small when looking out over the great plains the endless seas of grass. He felt like a child when he stared up at the giant Rockies towering above him.

When the toil of all the words rolling and tripping over one another in my head had become too bruised to do anything but surrender they poured out of my cracked mouth like water slipping over the edges an overfilled bathtub.
The puddles of reality before me formed an ugly truth.

Monaco Parkway.

Southbound on a glorious April afternoon.

Rocky Mountains on my right glow a bright luminescent yellow.

Causing the archway of hundred year old trees to reveal all their branches like hundred year old bones buried in the sky.
