Solemn Remembrances [Part4]
The devastating aftermath, the sharp slide of briny tears
Rolling, rolling, rolling on my brother`s face down to the cheeks,
Down to the trembling lips, down to the throat and vanishing

But everything is in a can
Never before have I lied
So hard
So hard

Winter's Rainy Day

The scent of rain,
Rolls in through the screen door,
Making it's way up to the ceiling,
Bringing with it a refreshing coolness,
The afternoon is not late,
Yet the air is moist and gray,
Letting time play tricks upon itself,

The rain starts to dance in the air,
Not falling down or bouncing up,
Suspended like static,
I walk out into the moist gray air,
And inhale the rainy mist,
It clings to my insides like nature's resin,

The sun starts to reach the horizon and the sky turns a soft peach,
Begging to be absorbed,
The peachy air screams,
"Inhale me!", So I do,
Glowing from the peachy mist the day starts to wane,
And I am grateful.

When Roses Bleed Thorns

  • life
  • selfreflection
  • family,
  • love,
When roses bleed thorns-
it’s time to prune them.
Waiting for seasons to change-
is like waiting for silence to resolve-
conflicts- a game of pride and rank.

No body grows until it wilts another
a parable from nature born by roses.
A rose is a promise blossoming with charm
watered in sacrifice to bear hope in beauty.

Deprived of affection and a sense of belonging
one retires to a sanctuary of isolation.
Arraigned by the acute pain of rejection
the walls become his or her world.

Insomnia when did you become my lover,

My confidant, my best friend?

Up at 2 am again,

Playing Jazz Hop,

And feeling nice and romantic,

I love and detest you all the same.

Insomnia when did you steal my heart,

Supplying me with good music,

And alone time,

Where I can study and write,

Smoke a bowl,

And feel just right.

It's the pain in your voice,
When you talk about her,
The jaded venom,
That you spew when asked,
About what happened,
Between you two.

It's the way you talk,
About you,
Loving her,
Imperfections and all.
Unconditionally.

All Hail The Heir

Shine like a morning star eclipsing all exultation known to man
Let the evocations of the vivid daybreak clear your sense of worry,
Buzz with conviviality of a bee on a nectar toiling with jubilation
lost in amazing maneuvers of sipping the liquid gold called honey.

My panties get wet with excitement,
Whenever I speak to you,
My stomach turns,
My heart beats faster,
And I can't help but wish you were here.

I simply thought that time had won,
That you and I were done,
Forever.

I simply dreamt of you every night,
Telling myself not to fight,
Your memory.

Maybe the stars are aligned properly now,
And we can be together somehow,
In love.
