I am the crazy old cat lady that lives all alone

I am the loner at school who no one really knows

I am the bookworm the weirdo the freak

I am the creep looking out my window

trying to catch a glimpse of passersby on the street

I am the teacher's pet the quiet

“And I sing a moonlight song wishing the stars would right all wrongs”

Break away from the mist

Steal the heavens and clasp their light in your fist

One evening song plays

Along the streets quietly toward us it strays

Revere the one composer

Playing on and on down the hall

Until our bleakest

A man sentenced to death me...

A social parasite needing to feed.

I wished to be.

Bringing forth the fear and pain

The fire will burn through paper like it doesn’t exist. And the lightning will flash through the sky like a bolt. A split second here and then gone. that’s the way the heart beats. The power comes from zeus. The god of war and Olympus. But what must we do to see our gods.

Here within my hand rubbing your hair locket

Light should be landing softly within my hold

But curtains close over my own light sockets

Black on black flows over my depressive soul

Adapted from the journal of E. C. C.

The freesia needs water.
The soil is dry to the touch.
I’m needing “water” too.
I miss having a home
where I can move outdoors.

I like being close to the earth

No. 14

In the moonlight

I saw a storm.

So I opened my window to peer

Outside.

Sweet seducing meadow

Cowering flowering tide

The night so dark and mellow

As the rain rushing

Came.

Overflowing music

And desperate voice of song

In the moonlight so menacing becomes

Barred and riddled

The crashing tides all bleed and rise

In uncertainty. Against the shores

A man is brought to his knees. In uncertainty

The screaming skies bleed blue. Driving the thunder

Into uncertainty. The quiet rocks are

Where would we be where would we stand
Without you them us
Pledging our hearts and our hands

Amid the chaos we would stand
Bury our heads beneath the sand
Watch the waters without fail drown this land

Feel my blood in your hand
Feel my life seep from your skin
Heavy drops falling and

Blood
And I feel it flow
Beneath my skin
The gushing momentum
Driving sin
Breathing skin

His mercy I sometimes feel
Expiration and blood
His deal
My fate sealed
The Devil wears the colour so real

And I feel its flow
Deep within
Tearing at walls
Breathing skin
Fighting the box it is in

And the song I used to sing
Went something like this

I know your wounds are hurting
My Bosnia my homeland
I love you

And though this song
The first of many
I sang

Shivering I break

Beneath this cold stone
Memory of old
Lies beneath hailing snow

Indecisive dreams shadow
My conscious world
Leave me hapless sallow
Wanting answers I can never know

In my head she quietly said
Let me fly free
I will make my journey
Back to the lands of seas
Of Life ...
