The Song

From refuge to riches

They scaled mountain walls

Followed the rivers old

Rivers gold.

The song of drifting

By tidal wave

By summer and autumn fall

Refugee of war.

She held a child

To her bleeding chest

Heart open wide

Love song cried.

North wind blows

Beckons in whispers

They come at me

again again again

pop up pop up

advertisement advertisement

They flog me like angry turkeys

angry colors against my eyes

I try to close out

but they're overwhelming my harddrive

I click out of one

and the next one takes it place

again again and again

Special offers

I can see my soul leak threw thin strung rawhide

Ancestors famously weep for me in modern time

Struggling

let me lie here next to you. all i will do is look at you. i will look at you in surprise and ecstatic love each time i find a new curve that i had not seen before. exploration underway.

the warmth i get from your body is like that of a bear and his fleece in hibernation.

FLY

Black devil

Spinning around the room

Looking for somewhere to land

Finds his place in the cracks

Of my white-washed walls.

Little stain

Smallest drop of poison

From the stygma of his hands

And from his eyes

Diamonds of temptation.

Won’t you bust a rhyme with me?

Write a funny line with me?

Maybe share a silly story

 Or picture something really gory

Hit me in my beating heart

Vacant houses with slanted walls

Entangle my logic with every turn.

Rooms rearrange themselves

As places take on dual identities.

Bears and strangers chase me down hallways

if you could see me through my window

oh my what a sight you'd see

there are pales of love in the smatterings of light

there are whole armfuls of wisdom in urns

i horde saplings of old trees breathing pureness

i have waves no whole oceans of happiness

and i am saving them all

Krimson Lachryma

Disintegrate

Into the Apocalypse

Faithfully falling

To prayers upon their lips

Face the greed

And tread lightly

Broken steed

ever weaker nightly

Devoured hooves

Bled by wolves

Bile and guts

Spilling - out of stars

Spilling - out of stars
