April Showers

The answer is found in politics is that correct?

Yesterday I saw a woman lying in distress
She said 'these April showers make me wanna die.'
'Why is it only for the flowers of May that god decides to cry?'

'It's later than late and I ought to be going,' shoveling her look aside.
'Here is something for your cup, maybe it will help you find a place to hide.'

'A friend told me once, that your life line is your pride,' she whispered.
'He was a great man, who has long since died.'

Today I saw a man looking distressed.
He said, 'you stopped to talk in the rain, must need to purify your chest.'
'Tell me son, why is it only in the pursuit of possessions that we try our best?'

'It's cold and wet and I ought to be going,' letting his voice blow by.
'Here is something for your cup, maybe it will help open your eyes.'

'A friend told me once, that your earthly life is a lie,' he sighed.
'She was a beautiful woman, who has long since died.'

The answer is found in politics, is that correct?

I like this. particularly the image of shoveling. We bury what we do not want to see.
