I have been a writer all my life. I began writing bits and pieces of poetry and short stories as a young girl, and had two of my poems published in a national anthology when I was 13.
In high school, I was on the newspaper staff and a member of the writing club, and I wrote all the time - feature stories, poetry, short stories, you name it.
As an adult, I continue to write. I owned and operated a music publicity company, and leter in life I became a book reviewer for my local newspaper, as well as several other newspapers and websites. I am also a entertainment features reporter, covering music, literary, art, anything that comprises entertainment for the masses.
I have completed one novel, and most of a second, and have a zillion ideas for more in my head.
As a distant relative of Edgar Allen Poe, writing is naturally in my genetics, and is part of my family's legacy. And I do my best to uphold my inheritance of a literary life.
