We are Hennen's Observer, a literary magazine, website, and production company that supports artists taking their first steps in the world of publishing and professionalism. We offer writers the opportunity to display their work on an international level and to compensate the best talent for their creative contributions. We constantly seek new venues to promote artists and their work as well as to foster a sense of collegiality amongst them.
Hennen’s Observer has three parts: the website, the digital magazine, and our production company:
First, the website is a free forum for everyone that wishes to submit his or her material. “Everything goes” in this arena, so don’t be afraid to share your work, no matter how edgy. It goes without saying that the online material will be of varying genre and quality.
Second, the digital magazine includes well written articles and literature of nearly all genre from the online and private submitters. If you happen to be one of those, we will compensate you for the rights to publish your work. For more information on our submission guidelines and current compensation rates, see the "contests" section of the website. In addition, the digital magazine includes artwork, cartoons, literature, and pictures not available online.
Third, our production capabilities are designed to promote emerging artists in their endeavors. We do this through all means available to us: from print to digital formats. We constantly seek new and imaginative projects to feature talented contributors with the help of our online community and print subscribers.
